Auction Representative

The West University Little League annual auction is a fun evening for parents to gather and celebrate the 2012 season as we raise needed funds for our League. This year, “A Night in Old Havana”  Auction will take place at the InterContinental Hotel on Friday, April 20, featuring live music by SKYROCKET!  Proceeds from this event will help our League fund the maintenance of our present fields and facilities and make additional improvements at the South Campus fields.

The Team Auction Representatives will be responsible for promoting and helping with the auction by:

  • Soliciting a donation (items or cash) worth $300 from their team. Deliver donation and form to Tara Sondock at 2502 Bellefontaine Street, Houston, TX 77030. Deadline for team donation is March 6, 2012.
  • Encouraging parents to attend the auction, either by purchasing a team table or individual tickets. Table and Ticket Underwriting form attached. Deliver or mail to Michelle Nickerson at 4207 Emory Avenue, Houston, TX 77005. Deadline for invitation recognition is March 6, 2012.
  • Encouraging parents to purchase advertising space in the auction catalog in order to honor their players, team and/or coaches. For auction catalog purchases, please contact Mary Frances DuMay at maryfrances@greenwoodking.com. Deadline for purchasing advertising space is by March 15, 2012.
  • Working a shift to help the auction committee with decorating, setting up or cleaning up on the event day.
  • Distributing auction catalogs to their team prior to the auction.
  • Communicating information about the Wine Pull. Information provided separately to forward to your team regarding wine pull donation requests. Wine donations are due by March 15, 2012 for catalog acknowledgement.
