The West University Little League (WULL) Board hopes all of you are safe and healthy in this uncertain and dynamically changing world around us. It is the only time many of us can remember no youth baseball in West University during the springtime. Our focus remains on the safety and well-being of our league and its members, and our actions have been aligned with this focus since the COVID-19 outbreak began.

At this time, we are extending the suspension of all WULL activities (i.e. practices, games and cages) through April 10th, following the guidance of our local schools and government with the intent to reduce the exposure of players and parents to the potential spread of COVID-19.

WULL remains committed to playing spring baseball and will closely monitor the developing COVID-19 events to provide updates to the league members. The league auction planned for Saturday, April 25th will be rescheduled for a date (TBD) later in 2020 and any Summer Baseball (All-Stars) activities will be communicated once Little League International has provided a path forward for our league teams to participate.

We realize this is a difficult and unstable time for many of our league families and we appreciate your understanding of the unprecedented challenges we are facing as an organization. Our intent is to be as transparent as we can, given the dynamic nature of the COVID-19 crisis. We will continue to update you as information is available and meaningful regarding Little League Baseball in 2020.

Thank you for supporting West University Little League. Together we can make a difference in these challenging times.

Sincerely,

Michael Dellinger
President
